76 Australian dollars are equivalent to about 52 US dollars which is also very close to the retail price of a single gallon of XD100  in a factory packaging.

You may want to call around to see if dealers sell XD100 in bulk where you bring your own container in which you an save a significant amount per gallon compared to a factory jug.

Hi,
76 AUD is cheap compared to 100 AUD at my nearby boat shop (Not Evinrude dealer). Have you tried Huett Marine at Cowan ?
Cheers GEB.

Huett Marine is nearly a 2hr round trip for me, although he fixed all my issues with the motor and it has never run better, hence why I forgot to check my oil level regularly as it uses a lot less than before still has 500ml but needed more for Xmas holiday trip.

Brought a 3 Pack of oil from Sydney Powersport Marine, so I should be right for oil now for a year.

Good to hear Huett’s looking after you. They’ve always looked after me and still my Dealer even though I’ve moved from Central Coast to Mid North Coast.
Enjoy the fishing
GEB.

I do not know how much oil you use, but you might look into buying a 15 or 55 gallon drum of it from your dealer.  You might be able to team up with a few of your buds to split the costs.  I buy my oil in 55 gallon drums and worked out a deal with my dealer to sell me 2 drums at his cost when I did my repower.  It worked out to about $30+- USD per gallon and it should last me for a few years or more.  You have to figure the cost of shipping and tax and a pump that screws into the top of the tank for your total expense, but it should come out considerably cheaper then buying it by the gallon especially if you buy it in a factory container.

I don't think that is such a good deal, I pay $38.8 per gallon from my dealer when I buy a 2.5 gallon container and I don't have to store that amount of oil for that long and tide up $1,650+ that will do better on the Dow Jones, + I always use fresh oil, just my 2 cents

Cheers
