Hi,

New to the group, have a Kenner 18V with a 2001 Johnson 150hp w/carbs, upgrading to possibly a 2007 Evinrude etec 150. What if any controls or wiring will I need to change?

Controls, System Check gauges, and wiring are the same.  If the throttle and shift cables are original, change them out with the premium versions.

Be sure your boat's fuel system is flushed out and has a fuel-water separator installed and 3/8" lines in good shape with no internal decomposition.

Batteries and cables must be in good shape also as well as the oil tank and its hoses and wiring.
