Newbie. I just purchased a 1650 crestliner with a 2006 90hp etec, it was running rough between 1000 and 2000 rpms. I took it to a local dealer and they said the #1 injector is bad, so they are going to replace at the tune of $650.00. I've read a lot of stuff about adding a water separator, and was hoping someone could explain how to do this on this motor? Thanks

There has been several posts over time with pictures of recommended setups. Your best bet is to use the search tool and read through some of the past posts. Many of us are using Racor filter/ separators with a clear bowl. You can also add a vacuum gauge to see when the filter is plugged or needs to be changed.

The search tool is your friend. There's some really good info in past threads. -Z

Mount the fillter where you can see it easily. That way you can keep a check for and drain any water
