Barnacle Bill’s has been very patient and helpful in my repeated inquiries over the last month’s to get a dealer service manual.  At my inquiry today, they said that the manual will only be offered online, and I assume only on BOSSWEB.

So I’m wondering how us end-user customers will be able to access such material for DIY?

I own a new K140GXPAA and would like access to service manual part numbers of:

5010836 And 5010838

Please advise if anyone has any suggestions for me.

Thanks in advance.

Would you be willing to upload it to my Dropbox account?

Based on what's been said - I would imagine that it is a "paid download" to your PC.  Once it's there you can open and scroll through the PDF(?) file as needed.

Don't forget the <CTL-F> for "Find" in Adobe.  Saves some scrolling a lot of the time.  Just keep clicking "Next" and it will jump to the next reference.

Thank you, nsylvan, for the purchase offer, but if I’m going to purchase, I will hold out for an american dealer selling.

So are there any american dealers who can sell me a copy?

It's only available for dealers to the best of my knowledge.

DIYs can still replace plugs, grease, oil and filter change, water pump and themos without the manual. The "Owner hand book" contains some of that information.

Any more extensive service may require EV,Diag6 which is only available to dealers.

BRP have been very forthcoming in the past by supplying manuals, unlike many other brands, but I think to many blunder by DIYs, then blaming the product have made them pull in a bit.

If you have good relationship with your dealer and willing to pay for it, he can possibly print you a copy from online. I think it was 500 pages.

Very often with a new product, the retail service manual takes a while before it becomes available. When something is new, it is under warranty and the dealer has the service info available to him or her, but the chances of a DIY doing anything above the maintenance level is normally not done because of the warranty. The lead time to publish and print a paper manual also means that it cannot be finalized until after the production has started so it can be current at that time.
