Have e60dplscb. All running fine. I have a lowrance that displays the engine data and always shows 100 %engine load when push throttle down, and even take my hand off and stays at 100%. Just today, when I push down all the way it shows 98%and if I push harder out may show 99%, never 100 like before. What could have changed so quickly? All look the same under the cowling. I have a brp side mount throttle. Thanks for any info.

Additional info: today when first starting and going to wot now shows 100%,acts normal. But once driving for a while, now only shows 97-98% with throttle down fully. My throttle cam roller plastic sheath is cracked. Mean anything here?? Or, could it be tps, barometric sensor?? Or other sensor related? Thanks for any help.

Other than the % change, has your WOT rpm's changed at all?  That TPS and the cable, especially if original, aren't as young as they used to be.  Maybe could try a TPS calibration?

That roller should probably be replaced before it falls off entirely - look for the "roller" and also the "o-ring" that holds it on the shaft.

Hope it helps.

Phil

Don’t worry about it. Once the % goes above about 92%, there is absolutely no change between there and 100%. No fueling or spark change, nothing. If the throttle system has actually not opened quite as far, any difference in throttle plate angle would be unmeasurable even on a dyno.

Always has been at 100%for years and now quick change. What would make it change so quickly? Will a cracked throttle cam roller make it change? Thanks

Replaced a new throttle cam roller and now is as new, back to 100 %load. Barnacle Bill fixed me up.
