Anyone come across a maintenance schedule for evinrude outboards like is available for cars?  Specific parts to be replaced and when?

marine-boy,
No such listing to the best of my knowledge.

However I have attached a listing I made some years ago.

Thanks guys.  I also found the attached since the original post.

What do most do re replacing gear case oil?  I've heard 3 years or is that a little long in the tooth?

Many do it yearly - Just Because.  It's up to you and your usage, but for the small $$ for good oil, good New washers and small time, why not?

Do Not leave a Lower Unit to freeze (with any water) over the Winter.  You probably won't be happy in the Spring.  [frown]

Thanks but I'd rather go to the pub for a beer and a feed [wink] than change my gear case oil if I don't need to.

I'm in Sydney so nothing's going to freeze here.

Outboard has 135 hours and coming up to 5 years so not much use.  No trolling, just motor to a spot or 2 and anchor so mainly 1 to 2 hours per trip.  If I can leave it for 3 years under these circumstances that would be awesome.  ???

Your owners manual has the schedule and the following are the common parts needed
