Seems the paint to lower unit chemistry wasn’t correct for long term bond on early models.

Tired of sanding - re painting trying to keep assorted spots looking good. Boat kept out of water.

Any long term paint solution ....besides just living with it ?

Plenty of hints, tips, and comments on here by clicking the Search tab above and entering "paint" - scroll down and click Search.

Here's one example, but it sounded like it worked fairly well -  https://www.etecownersgroup.com/post/show_single_post?pid=1288406631&postcount=15&forum=115574
