OlyPopper joined me in Fiji for 2 weeks. My 2004 75hp ETEC works hard and with a new injector and new Rogue 13.25x13 prop it runs very well on Ika Vuka, a custom aluminum 7m center console. OlyPopperETEC75.jpg  IkaVukaH2O.jpg

Nice Looking engine and prop though!

I really like that color combination white cowl on the dark blue mids/lower.

The sun starved white polar bear in the shot, not the prettiest.

That blue water color is killer.

Free outboard work, can't beat it.

Surprised that 75 E-TEC will spin up that 13P Rogue on such a large boat

Make him trade you some of his Kodiak Island grizzly liver for mahi mahi or yellow fin tuna.  Never go back to eating fish.

Yeah, he sorta looks like a polar bear in the water. He spent 2 weeks on Kadavu. Water was 81-82F, air was 74-84F.
We got home on 8 DEC to 10 degrees in AK, 58 in Sacramento. If you've seen him eat, you'd retract that remark about free motor work:,-). He sure knows the ETECs.

That new 13.25-13 prop hits 5500, whereas the 13.25-15 could only hit 4900. Those are EvFiag laptop numbers. My tach is inaccurate all over the RPM range by 200-400 RPM, but as long as I get the boat going the way I want it, it's not a concern. Just add 400 at 3000 indicated and 200 at 4800 and up.

Four blades work great when tilted up to squeeze over reefs and when heavily loaded in rough water. OlyPopper saw all of that as well as smooth water.

The white top cowl replaced a cracked blue one when I acquired the white one free. I like it, too.

I'm doing that right now!  I woke up to a not so pleasant -40 this morning at the shop.  The only thing that makes this worse is the fact that I'm heading over to a customer's shop this am to work on some Yamahas.

I just heard that - a friend lives just east toward North Pole.  Yesterday he said the forecast was for -30 overnight.  He wrote again today and said the weatherman lied!  [biggrin]

No wonder you know how to make 'em run well in the "cooler temps".  [wink]

Ha! It has to be tune and repair season up there. All the water within 400 miles is frozen hard as a rock.

Ken, aka WaisalimaMan calls the weatherman the "weather guesser".
