Not specifically mentioning Evinrude, but the following did address the marine section.

Quote:
Marine product sales lagged, however, with boat and engine sales down between 10 and 20 per cent year over year, which Martel attributed to "unfavourable weather" across the U.S. Upper Midwest.

"Although there are a few signs that demand for powersports products may have softened in recent months — particularly in the marine segment — as we noted previously, we believe BRP shares are already pricing in a slowdown in demand," Doerksen said in a note to investors.

Well, kinda. Sorta.

Evinrude is a Canadian company located within the US. Not unlike Toyota owning a company within the US. Or so many others. By the same token there are many US companies located in Canada.

It is truly a global economy.

Additional information with respect to engine sales can be found in the latest BRP fiscal report.

It's a global earnings report, they mention there acquisition of Telwater in Australia. The comment Nordman made are valid and referance the Marine division. BRP reports one set of earnings.

Evinrude is only a small division of BRP, part of the Marine Div. 100% owned by BRP.

So, neither the Marine Div. or Evinrude would not file public financial statements, either in Canada or the US.
Marine Div. has had disappointing Gross Revenues and sales last 2 years.

___________
"Marine [1] Revenues from Marine segment decreased by $2.4 million, or 1.9%, to $126.4 million for the three-month period ended July 31, 2019, compared with $128.8 million for the corresponding period ended July 31, 2018. The decrease was mainly due to a lower volume of outboard engines sold, mostly offset by the additional revenues following the acquisition of Boat Companies. North American outboard engine retail sales decreased on a percentage basis in the low-thirties range compared with the three-month period ended July 31, 2018

__________

I have not found any financial information on EU or Far East Marine Div. Gross Revenue sales increase or decrease.  Most of EU is in a recession or nearing point.  Japan is suffering business and stock market, but don't believe Evinrude has much sales presence there.
