I'm sure that this has been asked before, and I used the Search to check out many threads, but the more I read, the more confusing this is getting.

I'm trying to figure out what I-Command (or is it "ICON") gauge to buy.

2010 200HO, E200HCXISM on a 2000 225 Aquasport.

Boat has a Raymarine radar and C90W, a Garmin 172 GPS, and a Garmin 7SV sounder.  None of it is NEMA 2000 compliant.

I ran a Lowrance NEMA cable from the EMM to a T connector in the transom, terminated 1 end, and ran a 15 cable up to another T connector behind the console.  Put another terminator there, connected another T for power, and now simply want to add a gauge to the console.

I'm looking to add a gauge that I can use to monitor hopefully everything, but specifically engine temp, as I've had to deal with frustrating "running hot" alarms in the past, which is another topic.

The gauge that "seemed" most appropriate was the Lowrance LMF-400, as it looked like you could cycle through just about any setting you want, from tach to fuel to trim, but that seems to be a discontinued unit.

When I look at other gauges, unless I'm just reading it wrong, it looks like they are for fuel only, or trim only, or tach only, but there has to be an "all in one" gauge that I can plug into the bare backbone, and use it to monitor whatever NEMA devices/input I have?

Does anyone have a name or part number? I believe what I'm looking for is a 3.5" gauge that I can use to replace my current analog tach, and have the new gauge display tach/temp, and whatever else I choose to cycle through via a "Menu" button?

As always, thanks in advance for any suggestions.

Maybe take a peek at an ICON Pro tach?  Here's the User Guide.  See P. 17 for all the 'goodies' you can see as "default".

EDIT:  For a Thorough read, try JimH's article.  http://www.continuouswave.com/whaler/reference/ICONgauges.html

Yes, the ICON Pro Tach is what I kept coming to as what I'm looking for, I think.

I just want to be sure that's correct before I drop $450 on a gauge.

The Lowrance one I mentioned is (was) half that.  If there's something similar out there, in that price range, that would be my preference.

If I have to spend $450 on just a gauge, I might instead opt for a NEMA 2000 compliant GPS or Sounder, and just use one of the screens on that device for the readings I'm looking for instead.

I-Command gauges have been discontinued by the manufacturer. Select the ICON-Pro series

Hi,
While this Evinrude publication is from 2015 in the Rigging Section (from P62 on) it contains a lot of info on ICON gauges and their rigging.

This Evinrude publication from 2017 also has (from P6) CTS displays and ICON Pro Series P9

Yeah, the more I'm looking into this, the more it's starting to look like either adding a generic NEMA 2000 compliant screen (various vendors) or upgrading one of my GPS or sounders to NEMA 2000 compliant is the way to go.

If I've got to spend $400 for just a gauge (ICON tach), I might as well spend a little more and get something more useful than just a dashboard gauge.
