With only about ten days to go before the June 2016 dealer meeting at Evinrude headquarters in Wisconsin, may we please have some good rumors about the new products to be revealed? I won't be attending, and I am very curious to hear the latest scuttlebutt.

You won't get rumors, you will get facts and they will be posted here.

No point marketing something that has not been released yet.

Unlike the fan-fare introduction of the "game changer"  G2 E-TEC 2 years ago, this one is just the expansion of the G2 series family to include the next size of engines.

Maybe one day we will all be talking about how bad a$$ the new 400 hp V8 G2 is.

Maybe we will be talking about half that V8 when we see a new four-cylinder in-line E-TEC introduced this week.

My guess is that a starboard-starboard design for a V4 is unlikely. An in-line four would be simpler.

I agree, an I-4 G2 is probably the most realistic configuration.

I just remember as a kid seeing the old school V8 Evinrudes. I'm just daydreaming about a V8 G2.

Is it too much to hope for a G2 125HP HO?  Would be perfect for my boat.

We fly out of phila at 8am Sunday. Time will tell what BRP has to introduce. We are hoping they go to the I2 and I3 lines as they have been out since 2004. Not there are any problems with the two platforms but there are areas for improvement for them. The large engine market is really growing with the larger outboard boats being produced however to us that is a dead market as we do not see that size boat.
