So i have done a quick search of which type of lube to use in my lower unit. I believe it does not matter, XR or PRO, but would like to be 100% sure on this?  From what i have gathered my lower unit is a M2 and holds 38.90z. I had a pressure test done about a yr ago when fluid was changed and everything was good.  Pulled the drain screw today to check and lube and it was milky. Top over flow screw had minor shavings and was more a normal color and smelt normal. Could this just be normal wear color? Want to change the fluid and run again, then check color after. Have not run boat in couple weeks and last run was 90nm. No dings or groundings of prop, no fishing line near seal and about 60 hrs on current lower unit fluid.

 Thanx for the replies

XR is no longer produced, Pro is the recommended gear oil.
