If you get any stumble at all, just throttle back a bit, and keep enjoying your week!  As long as the system can draw enough fuel for what you're doing, you'll be fine.

Don't forget that gas cap, too.  I now run mine cracked open maybe 1/2 or 3/4 turn.

Enjoy!

Just saw your "last" post about 'Dealers fitting these'.  We were typing at the same time?  Anyway, it's a Good Evinrude Dealer that you need for onsite assistance.

I bought my boat/motor from a "licensed marine dealer" who said that it had been "fully serviced, and lake ready".

I learned about XD-100 on here, and saw the 1/4 full "left-over" jug at the stern of TCW3.  I'm changing that out to XD-100, and did so.  Later, I see the Blue tag on the line saying - "Motor programmed for XD-100.  Use Only XD-100 oil or Motor damage may result!"  (words to that effect)  Whew!  Caught that just in time.

Having said all that, we can't believe that any other than Evinrude Experts even know where to begin.  That's why I'm on here, to Learn!  [wink]

Day 1 boat went fab until tank reached 50% then had a lesser fuel issue. Day 2 rotated tank 180 so tank pick up faces tea of boat where fuel will be pushed when going WOT and perfect [smile] [smile].
What a great powerful motor on a 17'
At end of day2 no speed indication from I-command. So now reading up on that. Flicking thro settings out at sea I seemed to have a gps position so that seems strange glitch. Will see if sorts itself tomorrow. If not will dig deeper. Have twin i-command guage set up. Left set up for rpm and right for speed. Had been perfect. Just lost speed at end of day2. Read '0'?
Any quick fix tips?

Update - I-Command easily sorted. New user error I left it on wrong setting. Used Bu check to establish that the system could see GPS sender and working. Swapped screen back to ground speed and have speed and tacho on each guage again. I posted separate update on weeks testing. Great engine but still a couple of issues to iron out including propping for correct WOT revs.
