I just bought a boat with the E50DTLINM motor on it.  I love this motor so far.  The only thing I don't like about it is how to adjust the steering tension.

I've been doing a lot of reading on this site and others and it seems like there is supposed to be a "lever" to do adjust the tension.  I am not seeing that lever on mine.  All I have is the bolt/spring located on the swivel bracket.

Is this motor supposed to have the lever or am I going to have to go with an aftermarket style?  It's very inconvenient to adjust the tension.  This is the only part I dislike about this motor.

No steering lever on your engine like the 25/30HP tillers. Steering friction kit P/N 5007322 works well adding adjustable steering friction to any tiller from 40-115HP.
