Motor has 64.5 hours and has run perfectly over the past 2 years. Ran this past Sunday evening and Monday morning without issue. Added 1/2 gallon of XD100 to the reservoir which topped it off.

Took the kids fishing yesterday afternoon and it ran great the whole time. On the way back to the ramp, the water was glass so i trimmed up the motor and maxed it to 5950 rpms (NMEA2K reading). I always watch engine temps and it was 140 (going fast cools the motor quick!)

I park the boat, get the truck on the ramp, get in the boat, fires up i start idling to the trailer and NO OIL light and alarm comes on. Weird. I try to get the boat on trailer but need more than 1200 rpms and it wont give it to me. I cut off the motor, restart and the alarm goes away. Power on the trailer, hook up and go.

At home, i hook up the rabbit ears, tape the nose cone holes and start the water. Then i crank the engine. NO OIL light and alarm. Cut it off. Run the winterize procedure successfully thinking air bubble. Wait 15 minutes (washed the boat). Cranked the engine on the hose and seems to run fine for 5 minutes, no alarm or light.

Should i be concerned? Take to dealer to have code read? If it was air bubble, why? When i never let the reservoir get below 1 gallon? Can it be too full and cause an air bubble?

I ran the boat for 2 hours yesterday and no issues. Must’ve been addressed by the winterizing process, which I only did once.
