I have a 2005 e200dcxaoc (05111484) with about 1200 hrs on it, when i first start it i have to prime the ball and give the boat full throttle (out of gear),  If i let it run at 2500 RPM's for about 2 mins I am fine all day.  If will start right up after.  My starboard engine starts fine with no issues.  Any thoughts? i have replaced the fuel filters, and high pressure pump and seen no change

Which spark plugs are you using and when were they last replaced?

On that engine your may replace the originally recommended QC10PEPB with QC10WEP for longer spark plug life.  Also I see its your first post so i dont know how familiar you are with ETEC but make sure you are indexing the spark plugs correctly.

Have you cleaned or replaced the exhaust back pressure fittings in the midsection and cleaned the restrictor in the hose?

Yes I have replaced the spark plugs, and the exhaust back pressure fitting. I don’t think I cleaned out the hose

1200 hrs.

Start with compression and leakdown tests all 6.  If the compression is low on one or more or leakdown is high, try a decarbon piston soak of all overnight.  Pour 4 oz of Carbon Guard in each cylinder at TDC and let set for half hour, do next.  Let motor set overnight and spin over with plugs out, then compressed air to blow any remaining cleaner out until cylinders dry.  Can be ring lock on several

Then lift and HP rail pump pressure tests.

Check the injector and spark ignition pulses with a dynamic timing light for presence and strength while cranking.

Check the V at the starter lug while cranking.

Follow up with pulling all 6 injectors and do a cleaning per the video Joe at BBs has posted.  I soak the nozzles in injector cleaner in ultrasonic bath overnight.  Will need the injector service kits seals and ring from Joe.
