Hi everyone I own a 2006 evinrude etec 90 hp , the diagnostic show up Code 62 and 63 , I bought two brand new injectors I replaced them and installed the coefficient files properly , and still showing me up the same code , please if anybody have a guess on how can I repare this go ahead

If installed and programmed correctly but you still have shorted codes then the short is upstream from the injector. What P/N injectors did you fit?

That is not a valid P/N, it may be the number on the tag being the manufacturer number, but it is not the number that would of been on the box that these new injectors came in.

Yes sorry that's the number on the tag , the P/N is 5006220

They are the right ones so as per the first reply if installed correctly you need to find the short prior to the injectors.

One more question , the first one is working right, so can I discard the EMM as a part of the problem?

Guess you mean cylinder no.1 saying "first one" If you do not have the tools and skills to test the wiring harness it maybe above your pay grade. Can not say I have seen many, if any shorted codes related to EMM, but anything is possible. With the static test function see via a timing light if you get pulses on each wire going to each injector. My money would be on the wiring harness and easy to test using a multi-meter checking for shorts. Post a history report as too.

Thanks again, you're a really great guy, Tomorrow I will be posting the diagnostic report and the results of the wiring test
