i have a C150PLAAE serial #05514912.
I get a fuel pump fault Code 158 when I start the engine in the cold.
Today it was -12 degrees C (10 deegres F). Should I be worried?
Have told the dealer already. The engine works fine, The wistling from the instruments is annoying. It goes away when I try to start it again.
The service manual says «Fuel pump current >8amp. Check for shorts to ground»
Will it help if the dealer change the fuel pump? Everything is hard to turn when it is cold.
Has anyone else experienced the same problem?

Your engine may well have an EMM firmware update specifically addressing the code 158.  Verify whether you have the latest firmware offered for your engine.
