just realised its due to a kink in the fuel pipe, all sorted now and running smoothly.

I have the same problem with mine, around 2800 rpm its miss-fire but they said that it was because the engine has a low and a high range and it shifted around that rpm.
Was the kink on the fuel line in the motor?

hi, no the kink was in the line from the tank to the engine, i thought i had sorted it but it did it a couple of times again last week but then stopped and was fine si i will give it a blast again this week to see if it is still doing it.
my misfire was ove a band of a 1000rpm approx 3000 - 4000 is yours similar to this.

No, mine is around 2800 rpm, it sounds it miss fires on one cylinder and if I go down to 2500 or up to 3000 rps its gone.

Given that it does in a particular range i will tell them to check the TPS for smooth operation etc.

Considering battery connection ok, no air leaks etc.

Hello

I have a 2017 Etec 75hp and it is misfiering between 2000 and 3500 rpm.
I think the mixture is to poor in this rpm range.
How can I solve this problem. You can feel the boat shaking when the engine misfires.
