So thanks to Gavin on this site, I was able to troubleshoot my no- oil alarm to the oil pump. I am sure there are probably many discussions about this topic here already, I have bookmarked seahorse's helpful piece about priming stages from the rigging manual, but I would like to know if there are any pitfalls to,removing and replacing this pump. And, BTW, why does it cost over $900? Ouch!

What about the zip ties holdin the lines to the nipples? Can I use general purpose ones, or do I need to buy the BRP ones?

Thanks.
