The last “C” will come up if you go to the EPC through the knowledge center VIN page using the Serial # on BOSSWeb.

No, not supplying.

“Info Center” - “Knowledge Center” - add S/N to VIN page- when it comes up, Select Parts Catalog from there and the EPC will come up with the Full Model Info.

Thanks ajtec,

However trying your method, does the same as using EPC from 'parts' on 'Bossweb'.

So unless I'm missing something, it could be:  C150PLHABA, ABB or ABC.

It turns out the flush adaptor was just a modified garden hose attachment, not the evinrude item that attaches in the front of the engine!  They where adamant that the only way to flush is to attach the hose through the water outlet and not run the motor.  He also showed me a pic of a melted impellor housing from a customers G2 that was running the motor in a tank!! see attached!

With reference to the prop, i was just curious to see what a spare prop would set me back?  I am aware that the v6 models use a different RX3 to the k model 3 cylinder engines.  But i have been advised the get the weight distrobution right first and the motor height as i have a suspicion that it is mounted too low, and due to the way the transom had been originally drilled i can only go down!!

Lastly - has someone got the part number for the correct flush kit for my G2 v6 150ho?

thanks

The front mount flush kit is 5010004. My mistake on the prop numbers, I missed the bit about your engine being the HO and therefore the V6 G2 150HP. Yes make sure the engine mounting height is correct before playing with props.

When I use the VIN method in Knowledge center and choose the “Parts Catalog” in yellow it takes me directly to the C150PLHABC drop down.

Hi ajtec,
Unfortunately it does not work for me. It may have something to do with some slight differences between US Bossweb and AU Bossweb. All I get is the total model page.
Cheers
