I ordered BRP Water Pressure Gauge Kit 30PSI p/n 0764081 and I am hoping to install it on my 60hp Etec. The instructions are general and do not seem to apply to this engine. After researching the question I still can't find anything specific about connecting the gauge hose to the 60hp Etec engine. Any help would be appreciated.

You will need to install the hose onto the engine at the top of the block, to the right side of the built in lifting eye (directly behind the fuel filter when viewed from the starboard side).

Thank you. Do I need to install a fitting? The instructions say that depending on the engine you may need to install the provided elbow fitting but there is no elbow fitting in the kit.

Hopefully someone else will chime in but I believe it's 1/4" NPT hose barb that you will need.  You could simply remove the plug and take it to a hardware store for easier id of which hose barb you will need.
